On this special date, 13th of October, 1990, a hero was born to the family of his eminence, Shiekh Ibrahim Zakzaky and Malama Zeenatudeen Ibrahim. In the person of Shahid Sayyid Ahmad Zakzaky.
He is the third son to his parent, and he happened to be so close to his father. This made him to have good understanding of what his father calls people for “To establish an Islamic system”. Upon his understanding for the cause, he engaged himself alongside his brothers. Where he began his voyage with the Youths, been the backbone of the Movement.
Shahid Sayyid Ahmad was a God fearing, courageous, fearless and a selfless commander, who had sacrificed all what he had for the sake of Allah.
He had realized the importance of engaging youths on any struggle. He opted into youth awakening, through awareness and enlightenment. He had travelled to virtually parts of the northern states, where he delivered lots of lectures on religion, history, importance of knowledge, struggle and resistance for the sake of Allah. He gave multifarious lessons from the life of Abul Fadl Abbas (AS), his bravery, steadfastness, and his loyalty to his Master Imam Husain (AS).
He often encouraged youths to study and emulates the life of Abul Fadl Abbas (AS).
His internal revolution make tremendous impact on the youths, by changing their mindset towards the concept of the Islamic Movement and its leader, His eminence Shiekh Ibrahim Zakzaky.
Shahid Sayyid Ahmad’s prime dream was to witness the establishment of an Islamic system or attain martyrdom. He worked immensely to materialized his dream, and Alhamdulillah in the he attained martyrdom.
His legacy will continue to light the minds of the youths, as if he is still alive. He is alive indeed.
“And reckon not those who are killed in Allah’s way as death; nay, they are alive (and) are provided sustenance from their lord; (Q:3:169)
May Allah continue to protect the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Shiekh Ibrahim Zakzaky and His family.
