Illegal Detention of Marzieh Hashimi condemned in Nigeria

Members of the Islamic movement in Nigeria have joined the other part of the world in condemning the illegal arrest and detention of the renowned journalist Marzieh Hashimi who was illegally arrested and detained for 11 days by the FBI.

The condemnation was made with a peaceful rally today 25/1/2019 after the juma’at Congregational prayers at the National Mosque in Abuja, the Nigerian capital.

While addressing the gathering Sheikh Muneer Sokoto described the rally as a compulsory act considering the divine rule that command all Muslims to stands against injustice and oppression.

He also retreated the demand of the freedom of the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) and his wife who were illegally detained since 14/12/2015 with severe injuries.
