Ashura Mourning Procession In Nigeria (19/08/2021)
Followers of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky marked annual Ashura mourning commemoration. Commemorating the tragic martyrdom of Imam Husaini (AS) together with family members and his companions in Karbala on the 61th year after Hijrah. The procession is marked across Nigeria, the procession is peaceful except in Sokoto State of Northwest Nigeria; where Nigeria Police attacked and martyred two mourners and injured many.
